Freedom is vital for creativity and innovation. It is the key element for the dynamism that propels economic growth and creating a prosperous society. Individuals and families should be able to live as they choose. Everyone has an unalienable right to pursue their happiness.
All of us are born with an inherent dignity and deserve to be treated fairly. Fundamentally people are entitled to equal rights and we should strive to create equal opportunity for everyone. Equality is one of our most basic Constitutional Rights.
The great promise of our county has been that if you are determined, work hard and play by the rules you are able rise and achieve success and prosperity. As the cost of living and interest rates skyrocketed post-pandemic (groceries are smaller and cost 20% more), so many in the working and middle class are being crushed – not just squeezed – and increasingly that ideal seems a far-off dream. It is vital we restore a greater level of opportunity if we are to hold true to this promise. We must restore confidence in the future and recreate a strong foundation filled with opportunity, especially for our young people. It is a moral imperative.
